Country: France

Label: Iron Bonehead Productions

Review by JH

The tyrants from France known as Ritualization have been terrorizing weak souls with their sinister brand of death metal ever since their inception in 2006. Since then, the band has released two demos, an EP, split, and now their debut album titled, “Sacraments to the Sons of the Abyss,” with artwork courtesy of Chris Moyen.
Ritualization play top-tier death metal that sounds like an unholy hybrid of bands like early Deicide, Incantation, and Angelcorpse. The music possess an incredibly dark …

“NO MELODIES, NO GROOVES, NO SLAMS, NO BREAKDOWNS. ONLY HATRED AND WAR!”
Trench Warfare is hatred and violence from the wasteland of West Texas. The Midland, Texas-based musicians are heavily influenced by bestial black metal, Florida death metal and war metal. Their music is a declaration of war, an unforgiving expression of pure anger and malevolence. Their intent is clear, the impact is instantaneous. Trench Warfare is a modern take on Ross Bay Cult madness, staying true to the blasphemous …

Still fresh from their split with Wargrinder, the Athens-based trio Hate Manifesto (formerly known as Carpathian Lords), denounce the heavens with their stunning debut, entitled “To Those Who Glorified Death” ― featuring seven lashes of supreme Blackened War Metal of the highest pedigree.

I usually know when I discover a band if it’s one of the artists I’m the most obsessed with or just something I might want to listen to regularly simply because I like it, regardless of genres or my preferences. I liked the songs themselves and I thought the artwork is interesting to say the least, but after listening to it a few times I realized how insane and aggressive the whole album is. With all the great albums coming …

The Sarcophagus – ‘Beyond This World’s Illusion’

Label: Satanath Records

Review by Nachash

This album couldn’t really be better for me. A significant part of the record is focused on melodic guitars unlike the first full-length which didn’t use them as much. Everything I would have expected for this release has been included and emphasized. This band seems to use any idea they can come up with to make every song incredible on its own. They have an unusually mysterious and chaotic sound.
At the beginning of “Armoured Death”, the ambience becomes grim …
